Angelina Chogo WAPAKHABULO

Angelina Wapakhabulo [née Chogo] is UDSM’s Alumna of the Month for May 2020. Angelina is a Tanzanian by family of orientation and a Ugandan by family of procreation or affinity. She was born on March 24, 1949 in Iringa district, in southern Tanzania, and she had her primary education in Iringa, from where she proceeded to secondary education and finally enrolled for university studies at the University College Dar es Salaam (UCD) of the-then University of East Africa. The principal subjects of her BA degree programme were Theatre Arts (today known as Creative Arts), literature and education.

Celestine Christopher LIUNDI

Celestine Christopher Liundi is an alumnus of the University of Dar es Salaam of the graduating class of 1977. He was born on January 12 July 1940 in Lukuledi,Masasi district. He went to school at Lukuledi Primary School, Namupa Middle School in Lindi and Ndanda Abbey Secondary School in Masasi, Mtwara. Liundi joined the University of Dar es Salaam in 1974 under the University’s ‘mature-age entry scheme’ and took a BA (Education) study programme which he completed with honours in 1977.
